About

I'm an undergraduate senior at the University of Dhaka currently pursuing a B.S.S. in Health Economics. My work sits at the intersection of economics, data science, and health. I'm especially interested in using statistical methods, machine learning models, and large language models to answer applied questions in health economics and public health. I currently work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Prof. Lester R. Lusher at the University of Pittsburgh, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in Kinesiology under Sadia Anjum Ashrafi at Iowa State University, and collaborate on several interdisciplinary AI-for-science and AI-for-health projects.

  • Developed Stata scripts to automate pairwise correlation analysis and efficiently manage missing data points.
  • Built Python-based web scraping pipelines to collect author-level metadata (institutional affiliations, publication records, and citation metrics) across peer-reviewed economics journals to support large-scale reproducibility analysis.
  • Leveraged language learning models to analyze linguistic patterns in paper titles across altmetric score categories.
  • Curated and cross-referenced extensive datasets in Excel, ensuring high data accuracy and integrity.
  • Developed scalable data preparation methods, coordinating with stakeholders to improve analysis workflows.
